We said "goodbye!" to 2008 and "hello!" to 2009 by hosting a New Year's Eve party at our house. The combination of food, friends, and hilarious conversation made the hours fly by and before we knew it...the midnight countdown was upon us! Even after ringing in the New Year, we managed to stay awake for an extra hour-and-a-half. Who said old people can't stay up late? hee-hee!! We're looking forward to this new year with hope and optimism and continuing to be thankful for all of the blessings in our lives.

Yippee! You guys were such great hosts! Thanks for a fun night. The conversation was hilarious!!!! Jimmy and I are still laughing over some of the topics! I think you know what I mean. . .ha ha!
